Not Long Ago, In The Industry Not Far Away ...
For those who have been in the 3D industry in Indonesia since 90's, you may be familiar with 3ds Max which I introduced to Indonesian market in 1996. I knew so many people not only in Indonesia, but some industry major players as well. One of the highly known and respected, is Daniel Martinez Lara known as Pepe. You may want to check his website at www.pepeland.com. He was one of few well known 3ds Max pioneering animators in the world. Why? Because 3ds Max was not being considered as a professional choice. I was also struggling in order to introduce 3ds Max in Indonesia. His thoughts were awesome in order to open up people's mind.

So you're an engineer, designer, architect, ... what ever. So you use CAD, for daily work in drafting your production drawing. You need to ask few questions, before you come to the BIG QUESTION, listed as the title above. However, having more than 10 years of CAD experience on my end, seeing so many people using CAD (learning from the beginning - college, up to professionals), they don't use even 50% of the features even in just 2D CAD application. So, let's just go to the questions you need to ask your self.
I hope any of you haven't experienced an awful situation with your notebook, when you found all of a sudden, you're hard drive stopped working, and all of your important data might got lost, for good. HDD potential failures can happen even more when you're transporting your computer when it's up and running. For instance, you're having a presentation and it's your turn to show it, you'll bring your computer forward. Rough handlings, bumps, and even drops will bring the risk of HDD failure, up significantly.
