Lockdown. World's citizens are now experiencing a small bit of situation that most Palestinians face ever since the Zionist Israeli has been occupying the whole Palestine since 1967.  However, other than Palistinians, we all could be still being considered as very lucky. We could do many things during Lockdown period in our house, play with our kids, do work from home, and even continue to enjoy life.

The world is now populated with many CAD software. Some are already well known in the industry, while some others are open source, and even free. There are also some different licensing models, applied to users when using different CAD software for their computers.

As a graduated engineer and hard core designer in RC plan/UAV hobbyist, I've been working and using different CAD software the last 2.5 decades. And from my point of view, Rhinoceros 6 is just the perfect answer to my needs and of course many others which are related to 3d modeling, outputting archive as layouts (2D drawing), manual construction of my own designs, up to 3d printing parts for my personal R&D as well as sharing the simplicity and easiness to other fellow engineers and designers.

There's a sense of impossibility on the title written above from the hardware point of view. But, if we have our mind broadened to every possibility, I can say it's possible. And HP is making it possible.

Good news for all HP Zbook 14 users. It's been few years since I've been using World's first Ultrabook Workstation from HP. Have been fascinated by its performance, reliability. And now, even more performance "upgrades" by some driver updates. Of course it wouldn't go the same level performance as my new HP Zbook Studio G3, but, it delivers unexpected performance increases compare to today's computers/notebooks. And just as simple as this: it just gets faster.

1990, the year the first time I saw it on the news and fell in love at first sight. The Northrop McDonnell Douglas YF-23, had been my all time jetfighter favorit. I had a dream of flying the RC one for many decades. And in the end, I'm now able to design my own YF-23 and fly it. A bonus: I'm able to share it to the world!

Computer migration. One thing that may not be a big deal for some people. But for me, it's a time consuming and one thing that I'd prefer doing it in long spare time. However, these days, spare time is considered as a  luxurious entity in my daily activities. Not only to migrate all my data to a new computer, but making my computer more "bullet proof" to any issues in the future. Generally, it took me 4-5 straight days to set a new computer/notebook up. With the new Zbook Studio G3 arrived on my desk, the process will repeat. And I don't think that I have the time to do so as 4-5 straight days. But, it has to start somehow.

After waiting for quite sometime, watching it launched end of last year, I finally got my own HP Zbook Studio G3.

It's been more than a year since my last article. Been a totally busy year, surely was 2015. Looks like it will get even busier in 2016. However, I'd like to extend my gratitude to HP Zbook owners and congratulate some of you who finally use your main gear for work, as well as for playing. Happy New Year 2014, Everyone! This very first day of 2014, after browsing the net for a while, I've found a very interesting video article about the new HP ZBook 15. Frankly speaking, the video brought my jaw on the table (of course on the table not the floor, because while I was watching it I put my Envy 14 Spectre on the table). Not Long Ago, In The Industry Not Far Away ...
For those who have been in the 3D industry in Indonesia since 90's, you may be familiar with 3ds Max which I introduced to Indonesian market in 1996. I knew so many people not only in Indonesia, but some industry major players as well. One of the highly known and respected, is Daniel Martinez Lara known as Pepe. You may want to check his website at www.pepeland.com. He was one of few well known 3ds Max pioneering animators in the world. Why?  Because 3ds Max was not being considered as a professional choice. I was also struggling in order to introduce 3ds Max in Indonesia. His thoughts were awesome in order to open up people's mind.
