It's been more than a year since my last article. Been a totally busy year, surely was 2015. Looks like it will get even busier in 2016. However, I'd like to extend my gratitude to HP Zbook owners and congratulate some of you who finally use your main gear for work, as well as for playing. It's time to blend work with pleasure with HP Zbook.
Some of you may have questions in mind, why would bother playing with HP Zbook? For sure, most of the people using HP Zbook are engineers and designers, like me. So what? So, it would bring the next level of excitements! I started to use my Zbook in relation with my hobby about half a year ago. Doing what? Designing. That's not even excitements, that's work.
That would be a totally mistaken mindset. I use my Zbook to design RC Planes. And now, it gets even better. I could design UAV aircraft, anywhere! Here's an example of my RC planes, designed using HP Zbook 14 and Rhinoceros 5.0. Dassault Rafale C, was the last RC model I designed. The real model is under construction.
I'd completed few designs and the most appreciated one is the rendition of General Dynamics F-16 XL. I'm thanking my colleagues Ian Bott (UK) and Major Scott Challender (Royal Canadian Air Force - ret.) for giving me their support along with the design process until the final testing stages. Hope you all will enjoy the videos.
And I shared a basic knowledge on how to have precision modeling, when designing an RC plane, using Rhinoceros 5.0.
